The Pacific Book Review has described the Tales of Avalon as Tolkienesque - does such a word exist? Probably not but it's a pretty apt description. The first three books in the Tales of Avalon series are now available as a Trilogy - why not join this magical journey?

"I, as a children's writer, came to read some of the books by Daisy Bourne. She is a phenomenal writer engaged writing children's stories and novels. She has established her name in terms of gripping stories and bewitching plots carved with adventure, thrill, joy and humor--- where characters unfold themselves within the thread of intriguing story like the horizon brightens as we we come closer to the hills! The most striking element in her writing for me is: her spectacular skill of conflating psychology in the characters appropriate in narrative texture. I think her books are worthy for grown up children of any where in the world for the fun and joy they are enriched with. My best wishes for her success !

Arthur believes that Edward, his illegitimate son, is safely hidden in a loyal British village. He is wrong. The boy and his mother are betrayed.
Esmerelda, the witch, rescues the child and takes him to Avalon where he grows up in his father’s care. Edward has a happy life in Avalon, but it has always been in his heart to seek vengeance on the people who murdered his mother.
It seems Edward’s ambitions are futile because the ships which travel between the two worlds cease to fly. However, a single opportunity opens for him to go back to Briton. Should Edward defy his father and take this one chance to avenge his mother’s death? It is a dangerous mission and, if he fails to return to Avalon, he will lose the woman he loves as well as his future kingdom.
